According to the Bichon Frise history the breed’s ancestors were a type of Spaniel and the Poodle Their origin dates back to the thirteenth century. The Spanish sailors traded the Bichon all through the world and ultimately in the 16th century they became the favorite of the French royal court. Presently the Bichon Frise is mainly a companion dog and a dog that is used for shows. 

The Bichon Frise characteristics include they are feathery, little dog that is white and it loves to be with humans. It is clever, loving, bold and full of life. The Bichon Frise requires to be groomed regularly and given bath every month. It also requires professional grooming once a month. In order to prevent straining the eyes need to be cleaned properly and the eyes as well as the ears need to be trimmed with a pair of blunt scissors.
