The boxer has a tail that is usually docked. The coat of a boxer is short, smooth and close-fitting and in comes in fawn, mahogany, brindle, tan, and black with marking of white.

Boxer is a very loyal and affectionate dog and they bond very closely with family. They are known to get along with children as well as other pets in the house very well. The height of the male boxer dog can be about 22-25 inches and they may weigh up to 60-70 pounds. On the other hand the height of a female boxer may be 21-24 inches and it may weigh up to 53-65 pounds.

The Boxers are also known to drool and snore. The Boxer dog puppies are very energetic and need to be exercised daily in any form by taking them for long brisk walks or just walks. They are fond of outdoor games and love to play fetching of ball or similar games. They are very sensitive to temperature and get easily chilled or over heated.
The number of years the Boxer dog is expected to live is around eleven to fourteen years. When a boxer gives birth to litters it gives birth at the average of 6. The Boxer Dog adoption is something that should be done as to take care of them is easy. The hair should be brushed with a hard bristle brush, and it should be given bath only when very necessary. This Boxer dog is known to be an average shedder.
