Maltese Dog adoption is a good choice as they are very loving and adaptable. In order to groom them their long coat which is soft and silky it needs to be brushed and combed daily very gently. The eyes and the beard need to be cleaned daily in order to prevent staining after meals. Bathing and shampooing should be done regularly .The ears should be cleaned and plucked regularly. The eyes also need to be cleaned as well as checked regularly. As it has long hair it is at times tied in a knot to keep it from falling on the eyes.
